Unbiased Zutara/Maiko fanfiction? Is it possible?

I'm writing a fanfiction--probably the longest I've ever written, so far--based off of my Avatar fanart "Falling Away With You". And it is completely devoid personal ship bias for the most part--which is something big for me. No, our Zuko must choose for his own self where he ends up in the end...I don't even know how it'll end up yet =D
But I'll begin posting chapters up soon, one by one...and hopefully you'll all follow along. In the meantime, though, don't expect a lot of art from me ^^

Actually coming along really well! I have maybe four chapters of the story set to Falling Away with you, and it's the first fanfic I wrote where I actually wanted to continue writing it every day. I won't really say what it's about (well, besides the obvious part portrayed in the picture) but I will say that, for this first part, it's completely unbiased shipping wise--and I'm almost turning myself Zutarian O-o

Do you need some reminders of WHY Maiko is so great! Let me remind you:
Mai, even after her boyfriend (in her eyes) dumped her with a letter, and left her at the Boiling Rock, saved his life, with full knowledge of what could happen.
Zuko looked back at his armor when he was writing the goodbye letter. If you need more spirit, then here are two links to EXCELLENT maiko fanfics.

Thank you! =D After writing some more, my Maiko love came back. It's really hard to write her voice...*rambles on for awhile* And thanks too for the fanfics; I'm always looking for good Maiko fanfics ^^
