I'm leaving on a jet plane I don't know when I'll be back again..." --Leaving On A Jet Plane ------------------------------------------------------------- Kind of inspired by that song. Execpt Zuko isn't leaving on a jet plane, he's leaving in a stolen hot-air balloon. But same difference. Because I needed even more Maiko love. I'm kind of losing the love for it, you know? Kataang's bubbly cuteness is sort of more appealing at the moment lol... I kind of like how this turned out, and the watercolor filters on Photoshop saved me plenty o' times. The pressure sensitivity on my tablet wasn't working for reasons unknown, but I just went with it and tried a different kind of shading than I usually do. (Note: ignore my randomass shading on the blanket. I don't know what I'm doing and I don't even have an idea of where my imaginary light source is.) We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
